Shipping & Delivery



 

International orders:

We offer two shipping methods for international orders, the first by Globalmail and the second by Express (via DHL courier). The shipping times displayed below are applicable once your order has been despatched from our warehouse in New Zealand, You will receive an e-mail from us confirming this.

Please note that no allowances have been made in the above delivery schedule for orders that may be held up in customs. In the unlikely event that this might happen please allow an extra few days onto the destination schedule. Orders delayed in customs is not something we are able to control, but from our experience it is a very rare occurrence.

In order to avoid parcels being delayed in customs we do not send out parcels weighing more than 2kg each. If an order weighs more than 2kg we will seperate it out into different parcels, this procedure does not affect the shipping costs to our customers and also reduces the chances of the parcels being delayed in customs. Customs duties and taxes where levied are payable by the receiver.

Globalmail is the most commonly used shipping method with our customers. All orders shipped by International airmail are automatically insured by us at no extra cost to our customers up to the value of $250. Any purchases over this value requires the purchase of insurance which costs $25.00.  We can arrange and will give you this option at the time your order is placed, prior to sending your parcel. We can also ship to Post Office Boxes with our International airmail service. 

Express is available for customers who require their order extra quickly. However please note that the International express service does NOT allow delivery to Post Office Boxes. As with orders sent via International airmail orders are automatically insured by us at no extra cost to our customers. Also please note that we are unable to ship any of our food items through the International express service.

Shipping Charges:

For customers who wish to know the shipping charges in advance of processing their entire order we have included shipping in the checkout procedure for your convenience.

Simply add the products you are interested in purchasing to your shopping cart, once in the shopping cart you will be required to select your address details and (if applicable) the address details of who you wish the parcel to be sent to. 

You will then be given shipping rates for delivery by Globalmail and Express. You can amend your shopping cart items as many times as you like and the shipping costs will change accordingly.

Domestic orders (New Zealand delivery only):

For all orders delivered within New Zealand we offer two options, Parcel Post and Courier Post.  We have 4 different rates for each depending what you purchase, the appropriate rate will be allocated during the shopping cart procedure and the maximum charge is $6.00 for parcel post and 30483047387 for Courier Post.

Rural Delivery:

During the checkout procedure you will see at the time of entering your address there is a choice to select "Rural Delivery", please only select this if you have an RD number within your address.  Selecting this option adds another $1.00 to your shipping charges


Delivery Address:

When you are going through the checkout process you will be asked twice for address details.  This is not an error, you will note that the first request is for billing details and the second address is for delivery.  After you have put in your billing details the delivery address screen will show this address automatically.  If they are one in the same and you do not have a secondary destination for the parcel to go to just click continue and you will be taken through to the next step in the procedure.

Alternatively, if you do have an alternative address to send an item to please enter the details, if required, change the country selection and then continue,  This way your freight will be billed correctly.

Shipping Error!!

A shipping error will occur when you have selected an order which weighs over 2kg.  We will quote seperately for this.  The error message supplies a blue Kiwi Art 4 U link.  Please click on this and it will open an email page ready for you to type in the order you were wishing to purchase and we will look after you from there.
